TPOL Powepoint
A TPOL is a presentation where I reflect about my school year. This year I based it of my 32Q which you can see on my writing page under 9th grade humanities. Our presentation had to have a slide for each celebration and area of growth we had. We also had a slide for the question we would ask our teachers, each slide had to at least have one picture. The images had to have a purpose behind it, you couldn't just put a picture of a dog when you're talking about being organized. This presentation had to last between 9-10 minutes.
This presentation, along with my 32Q, felt personal. This is the first time in a POL that I have the opportunity to say what I truly mean. I decided to put pictures of me when I was young because I feel like that's what defined me. I put an image of someone who I look up to in the car industry, also of a book that helped me understand literature a little better. What I am the most proud about is how I have finally discovered what I want to pursue as a career. Overall I feel like this 9th grade year has been the best for me.
Character Hat for Romeo and Juliet
We began the making of our hats by first discussing who each character is. We were shown a presentation and each slide had an analysis of a different character. We went based of their personality and their family. If for example you got a Capulet then you would use red to represent the Capulets. We then chose our characters by telling the person that was assigned top ask different people what they wanted. I chose Tybalt who is Capulet that is driven by machismo and does not want to have piece but instead wants to fight. Since I got a Capulet I used the color red as my base. My original idea was to make it into a sword fighter hat, but it did not come out like that. I chose to work independently because I felt that this way I was going to be able to follow my idea.
My hat did not come out the way I intended, I was imagining something else than what came out. I did use up all the time that we got, just that I may of had worked too slow. I would add supports to it so it can stand and not be floppy. I would clean up the dry glue that is around it and maybe make it smaller. Knowing what kind of person Tybalt is I would've really loved to make it look like a sword fighter, It would've made him look more aggressive. Finally I would try to use the same color of red since there was no other available.

Spoken Word Project
This was our Spoken Word Project in which we had to create poems that can reflect on us. The themes behind our poems varied from love to teenage worries. We had to create various drafts to see how it sounded and if our voice sounded like it was important to us. After many rehearsals, we had to prepare for our exhibition. Our exhibition was so we could present to our families. Here everyone was nervous because they felt they were going to forgot since we had to memorize our pieces. I unfortunately messed up our group because i forgot my line and skipped a couple other ones and we had to run our poem short. Other groups had so much passion in their voice, they would raise their voice at appropriate times and we did too, but we didn't completely go through our poem.

POL Presentation
A POL is a presentation of learning. We try to explain what we learned in a semester in our POL, a TPOL is a presentation about what we learned the entire school year and getting ready to transition to the next grade that is why it is called a TPOL. Our POL presentation is about our communal space that we created, mine is an outdoor kitchen. We had to include our ideas, images, and the process. The purpose of this POL was to pitch our ideas to people of Space 4 Art and we later on had to reflect on the project. This presentation was bot easy and hard because I knew what to say I designed it but it was hard to be detailed with my components.
