Practice ModelWe created a model out of construction paper to symbolize a structure that uses electricity. This was a good way to practice for our real model which is an outdoor kitchen. You can learn more about under physics in the tab named Tiny House Big Communities. We needed to understand how to use a breadboard and how to light the model in three ways. Our first one is a light that stays on, the next is the one that is activated by a button. The last one was using a dimmer switch to change the brightness of it. This has shown me the way lights are wired to perform in different ways.

Outdoor Kitchen Model
Through the making of this model I have learned craftsmanship and detail that needs to go into the making of these pieces. I learned how to scale since the actual structure would be bigger. I have never done this and something being up to scale is hard since it has to be accurate. I also had to realize how big team work was since it was a group effort. We would tell certain people what to do for example i did the moveable space while one of my partners did the wall.
Electricity wasn't something new to me since I knew the basics. What was difficult was how to include them into our model since there wasn't too many objects into which we could put lights on. Eventually we put a white one into the refrigerator, a blue one under the bar and a green led in the shelf. This has helped me see how important electricity is in a structure, and how complex it can be to wire.
